You teach Silver&Fit class– how would you describe it to new comers?
Silver&Fit is a fantastic format for our 65 and older participants. We use a circuit style workout to do cardio, strength, balance as well as brain exercise! This class will help participants gain strength and confidence with their daily tasks of living such as getting in and out of the car and putting away groceries. We keep it fun so members return week after week!
What do you enjoy most when it comes to working out at UpLift?
I find Jill and Chris to be fantastic and encouraging women. They really believe in women and have given me the opportunity to step out of my Fitness Instructor box and try a few new things. The members at UpLift are so friendly and willing to try new things! I’m really grateful for that.
What do you do when you are not at the gym?
My husband and I have 3 sons who are very active in the arts: music, band, theater, debate and speech. When I am not at the gym I am watching them perform or helping out at one of their activities. I love to ride my bike, work out, read, watch Netflix, be outside when the weather is nice and hot, and spend time with family and friends.

My word is JOY! I try to radiate it from the inside out. I really try to make people feel warm and welcome wherever I am!
What is your favorite work out song?
There are so many fantastic for working out, so picking songs depends songs depends on what type of workout I am doing. Songs that get me going are: Kick start My Heart by AC/DC, Fight Song by Rachel Platten, anything by Flo-Rida, Pitbull or good old songs from the 1980’s!
