Toni Primack, UpLift Trainer, certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). She is 40 and a mother of one.
What’s your favorite form of exercise?
I feel variety is the spice of life! With my busy schedule, I love workouts that are quick and effective including high Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), sprints, and lifting weights. However, Pilates reformer is my absolute favorite as it includes overall strength, flexibility, coordination and balance in a total body workout. I love that it puts my mind at rest and recharges my body!

What do you do when you are not at the gym?
I have a wanderlust soul and an entrepreneurial spirit! You will never find me in one place for long…I have to keep moving and keep busy, it’s what keeps life interesting! When not in the gym, I love spending time with my family, traveling, shopping, DIY home projects and building my small business.
What made you want to work for UpLift?
From the moment I learned about UpLift I had an overwhelming sense that this was the gym for me! I love that UpLift is a women’s only gym and that the focus is to empower women to become the best and healthiest version of themselves. The concept of including personal training free with every membership is powerful in ensuring that all women get the help and support they need to reach their goals!
What do you enjoy most about being a personal trainer?
Personal training has given me the ability to help others set and achieve goals through consistency, pushing past their comfort zone and being committed to change. I believe small changes can lead to great results. Health and wellness is not a one size fits all solution. EveryBODY is different and it’s important to learn what motivates you to move more. I love that personal training provides accountability and a personalized road map for your fitness goals.
