What do you enjoy most about working at UpLift?
I really love the community here. Everyone supports each other and celebrates the little wins, which makes it such a fun and motivating place to be. I love being surrounded by strong women who lift each other up!
What got you into exercise?
I was a gymnast and soccer player growing up, so being active has always been part of my life. I’ve been coaching gymnastics since I was 15, and am now also pursuing my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Minnesota. I’ve dealt with injuries myself and know how frustrating it is to be sidelined from the things you love. That’s a big reason why I focus so much on quality of movement—I want to help people build strength, move well, and come back stronger from setbacks.
What’s your advice for living a healthy lifestyle?
Focus on consistency and quality, not perfection. As a student, I know what it’s like to be so busy that it feels like you don’t have time to exercise or prepare healthy meals—but you can always make space for it if you keep it realistic and flexible. You don’t need a perfect routine; just something sustainable that helps you feel strong.
What do you like to do outside the gym?
I don’t have much free time outside of studying and coaching, but anything active and outdoors. I love playing pickleball, running, and hiking! Traveling to new places and finding ways to move while I’m there is one of my favorite things.
