What do you do for exercise outside of the gym?

Outside of the gym I love to do yoga and get active outside. I enjoy hiking, walking my dog, and going to my cabin to wakeboard, ski, and go tubing. I grew up playing hockey and lacrosse so anything competitive is always fun for me!

Who or what inspires you?

Hard work and dedication inspire me. I played hockey and lacrosse growing up, followed by four years of collegiate lacrosse so hard work and dedication have always been the backbone of my success. I think you can accomplish so much in every avenue of your life, whether that may be in the gym, at your job, or with your health, with these two characteristics and seeing it in others is always inspiring.

Favorite exercise to teach at UpLift?

My favorite exercises to teach at UpLift would be anything on the Bosu ball. I love watching someone gain more balance and strength by adding that instability factor. It advances some of the most basic moves so you have to use your core and work a little bit harder!
